You can stay up to date with the latest news and information
from the Council by subscribing to our news feed in one of two
ways:
Email alert
The first option is to
sign up to an email alert by simply entering your email address
and we'll email you each day for each category where information
has been updated.
We can notify you of changes to waste and recycling services,
library events or Council news releases.
RSS news feeds
The second option is to use an RSS news reader which allows you
to read our RSS news feeds to see at a glance what areas of our
site has been updated.
There are many different versions of news readers; some are
available through a web browser interface, allowing you to check
your feeds from anywhere in the world, whilst others are software
applications that need to be downloaded and installed to your
computer.
Once you have chosen your news reader you need to add your feeds
to it.
Where RSS feeds are available on our website, an icon 
will
be shown.
To subscribe to a feed do one of the following.
- Click and drag the link next to RSS logo into your news
reader
- Drag the URL of the RSS feed into your news reader
- Cut and paste the URL of the RSS feed into your news
reader
