Business rates - charges
The amount of Rates due for each property is determined by
multiplying the Rateable Value of the property by the Rate
Poundage.
The Rateable Value of a property is determined by the Assessor.
The Rate Poundage is determined by the Scottish Executive and is
set at 40.7p per £ for the financial year 2010/11.
