Transitional Arrangements
The Scottish Governmenthave introduced arrangements to phase in increases/deceases to Rates bills as a result of the General Revaluation at 1 April 2005.
Decreases in bills are limited to 10% in real terms for all Ratepayers. Transition will continue irrespective of a change in occupier.
For subsequent years (to 31 March 2008), the amount of transition will be phased in and applied to the Rates bill.
