Registering Your Business
If you intend to employ any person or persons to work in a shop or office premises you are required by Section 49 of the Offices Shops and Railway Premises Act 1963 and the Notification of Employment of Persons Order 1964 to register your business.
Shops (including supermarkets) and office premises may obtain a form OSR1 from the Health and Safety Enforcement Section, or download and complete on line an electronic version of the form available on the HSE website

Other commercial premises for example, places of entertainment and leisure, wholesalers, hotels and other temporary accommodation providers etc. Should complete the Perth and Kinross Council business details sheet form H&S11. This form is also available for you to download (see link on right), print then complete and send to the Health and Safety Enforcement Section at the address given above.
