We aim to improve the appearance and prosperity of Perth and Kinross and the social well-being of its people.
We do this by shaping the future of our towns, villages and countryside and by protecting and enhancing their qualities through: working in partnership with local communities to plan and deliver initiatives; developing planning policies and promoting sustainable development; improving standards of design quality and access; and designing out crime in accordance with the policy framework.

Perth & Kinross Council was one of the four pilot authorities in the project, which ran between March and September 2008. The LCLIP has now been completed and is available to view or download from the web site.
