Perthshire Produce Guide and Perth Farmers Market
Perthshire Produce Guide
The 24-page Perthshire Produce Guide, which is produced by Perth and Kinross Council, gives a flavour of some of the fantastic products and people who go a long way to making Perthshire one of Scotland's finest areas for the production, selling and enjoyment of good quality food.
It is accompanied by a Producers Directory that gives details of where to buy the very best local produce from Highland meats to Lowland herbs and vegetables and from Tay salmon to wild boar.

Perth boasts the first Farmers' Market in Scotland and remains one of the largest and most successful in the country.
The Farmers' Market is held in Perth city centre on the first Saturday of each month. It offers an abundance of fresh ingredients and quality products, direct from the producer. With fresh red meat, slippery oysters, green leafy veg and home made cakes, pies and wines, you will find everything you need to create delicious meals.
If you're not sure what you're after, need to be inspired, or want to know more about what you are eating, have a chat with the stallholders who can advise on ideas, cooking methods and traceability.
