Business grants and loans
Business Enterprise Scheme
- A number of financial packages are available (subject to agreed criteria and availability) through the Business Enterprise Scheme to help new and existing businesses.
Rural Enterprise Growth Grant
- For start-ups and business expansion projects looking to adopt new innovative products and processes.
Rural Business Premises Support Grant
- Available to businesses in rural areas of Perth and Kinross for premises expansion projects essential to the ongoing growth and expansion of the business.

and Kinross Business Start-up Grant Scheme
- Helps a business in its first year of trading or in the pre start up stage.
Perthshire Investment Loan Fund
- Gap funding for established businesses up to £25,000.
Scottish Business Grants
- Scottish Enterprise can provide financial assistance to new and existing businesses in Scotland through its innovation (SMART:Scotland) and investment (RSA) grants.
Carbon trust
- Businesses can take advantage of 0% business loans being made available by the Carbon Trust, which could help them upgrade their equipment.
