• Jobcentre Plus offers a number of training programmes and services to help Jobseekers, unemployed people, particularly long-term unemployed people, people with disabilities and others who may need extra help in finding work.

Improving your skills

• Perth College UHI - You can study for courses from national certificate to degree level at the Perth campus or at one of the dedicated learning centres throughout our rural area.
  
  You also have the option of learning by full-time study and getting your award as quickly as possible, or if you prefer the convenience of part-time, online or distance learning, you can study around work or other commitments.
  
• Learndirect Scotland - Want to get more out of life and increase your job prospects?  Learning something new can help you build your confidence and boost your career.
  
• ILA Scotland is a Scottish Government scheme that helps you pay for learning that you can do at a time, place, pace and in a way to suit you.  
  
• Skills Development Scotland delivers comprehensive information, advice and guidance for careers and learning as well as extensive support for skills development.
