Local history and heritage
From earliest times, Perthshire and Kinross-shire have played a very important part in Scotland's history, resulting in an area that is rich in social, economic and architectural history. The Archive and the Local Studies section are both located in the AK Bell Library in Perth and contain a vast amount of information in published and unpublished formats on the people and places of Perth & Kinross.
