All aspects of the work in the Recreation Centre are aimed
towards the achievement of the aims of the Centre. The
Centre's aims are to:

5 lane, 20 metre deck level design. Shallow end
0.9m. Deep end 1.8m.

Gymnasium
18m X 12m purpose built hall with a semi-sprung pine
floor. No ball games permitted because of the hazard of wall
mounted equipment. Club and classes include:

Fitness Room
Emphasis is on healthy exercise and fitness rather than
body building and muscle power. Mixture of aerobic machines
and single stack weight equipment. The equipment has been
selected to be used by anyone over 16 years.
Access
Daily - only restrictions when used by some classes during term
time.
Induction programme must be undertaken for access.
Pricing
There is no membership system. The facilities are
available to the wider community on a 'pay as you play'
basis. The prices are set by Perth and Kinross Council and
are subject to change. Saver discount prices available for
regular users of the swimming pool and fitness room (10 admission
tickets for the price of 8). Reduced entry charges for under
18s, senior citizens, registered unemployed, income support,
students and registered disabled.
