After school Clubs:
Coupar Angus and Rattray primary schools are both running after school clubs for girls football coached by Cally Gordon. Every week there have been 30 girls attending for the 6 week block. These sessions will start up again after Christmas.
Clubs:
Letham Girls U13 and U11 Teams have completed a fund raising event as part of Letham sports Club. In October they all took part in a HOT SHOT SOCCER shoot out night to measure how fast they could kick a ball and the member who raised the most money won a Scotland shirt signed by the Women's team which was kindly donated by International Goal keeper Gemma Fay.
Festivals:
Liz Morris Sports Development Officer organised the first primary festival for Girl's football hosted by Letham Sports Club at their hoe ground Seven Acres. 30 girls attended from St Madoes, Our Lady's and Rattray Primary Schools, a great time was had by all. All that took part were very keen to continue playing the sport and were given the relevant club information.
