Other Support for Voluntary Sector

Within Perth and Kinross a variety of support is provided by Perth and Kinross Associations of Voluntary Services (PKAVS), which is a local infrastructure and charity.

PKAVS have a number of projects however the projects which provide support directly to local groups and organisations are:

Council of Voluntary Service Perth & Kinross (CVSP&K)

CVSP&K provides information, advice and support to voluntary groups on a range of issues including governance and management, organisational development, funding opportunities and charitable status.  The small staff team:

  • Provide 'business' support to the voluntary and community sector
  • Represent the sector at national and local government levels
  • Provide training and consultancy for voluntary and community groups on a range of issues
  • Help access funding for new and existing groups
  • Promote and support the sector.

Volunteer Centre Perth & Kinross (VCP&K)
