Single Outcome Agreement
An agreement was published by the Scottish Government on
14th November 2007, which sets sets out the relationship
between the Scottish Government and local councils. Under
this agreement, the Scottish Government has
set out the funding it will provide in return for the delivery of
key commitments by local councils.
Each Council was required to establish a Single Outcome
Agreement (SOA) setting out what their priorities are for
their areas, communities and people. This Single
Outcome Agreement is between our
Community Planning Partnership and the Scottish Government.
The SOA shows how local priorities set out in our Corporate
Plan fit with national
priorities set out by the Scottish
Government. These national priorities are aimed at making
Scotland wealthier, fairer, safer and greener, and its population
smarter, healthier and stronger.
The SOA sets out overall priorities for our area and gives
public, private and voluntary agencies the chance to strengthen how
they work together to make a real difference to the lives of people
in Perth and Kinross.
The Council supports delivery of the Single Outcome
Agreement through the commitments it has made in the
Corporate Plan 2009-12. The
Business Management and Improvement Plans (BMIPs) of all
Council Services also demonstrate how they help to deliver the
amibitious outcomes.
Single Outcome Agreement 2009 - 2011
The second
Perth and Kinross Single Outcome Agreement for 2009-2011 [pdf -
557kb] was signed by the Community Planning Partnership and
Scottish Government on 29 July 2009.
Annual Performance Reports are produced each
September which highlight the improvements the
Community Planning Partnership has achieved and set out how we plan
to improve further.
The findings of the reports are supported by further
information on our
evidence portal, which is an online hyperlinked directory of
reports, plans, information and other documents. The reports
also link to our online performance scorecard
PK Performs which provides an easy to understand view of how we
are delivering on the priorities within the SOA for Perth and
Kinross 2009-2011.
