As part of the process we are required to carry out a Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA). The Council was inviting comments from the public on the environmental issues contained within the scoping report.
Boundary Commission Consultation	Perth and Kinross	All Residents	The Boundary Commission for Scotland have published initial proposals for the sixth review of Uk parliamentary constituencies. A public hearing will be held on 29 November in the Dundee City Chambers at 10 am.

Kinnoull Conservation Area	Kinross and surrounding area	All residents, community groups and national bodies	Perth & Kinross Council is consulting the public, local community groups and national bodies on a revised conservation area appraisal for the Kinnoull Conservation Area.
Kinross Conservation Area Appraisal	Kinross and surrounding area	All residents	Kinross town centre was first designated as a conservation area in 1979 and this was later extended in 1989 to include the area around Kinross House. All Councils are required to formulate and publish, from time to time, proposals for the preservation and enhancement of any parts of their district which are conservation areas.
Kinross and Kinross-shire Community Engagement	Kinross and Kinross-shire	All residents	As part of our ongoing commitment to engaging with communities, Council officers would like to open a dialogue with representatives and individuals from the community and community representatives to attend focus group sessions to discuss the key themes that are relevant to the area. A follow-up World Cafe event will take place to discuss issues raised.
Housing engagement events	All Perth & Kinross	All residents	Area housing teams and other housing services, are going out and about inviting people into the offices, to meet with, talk about, and listen to the people of Perth & Kinross. Topics will be everything from working together to improve local neighbourhoods, the role of local area housing offices and the ongoing review of the allocations policy and rent structure.
Review of housing allocations policy	All Perth & Kinross	Tenants, people on the housing waiting list, and potential applicants	A new policy for how council houses will be allocated has been drafted. We are engaging with interested people to get their views on whether the policy is clear and understandable. We are using the website, news releases, area housing offices, the existing housing waiting list and are linking in with the rent re-structuring roadshow to reach people.
Errol Conservation Area	Errol and surrounding area	All residents and community groups	All Councils are required to formulate and publish, from time to time, proposals for the preservation and enhancement of any parts of their district which are conservation areas. The Errol Conservation Area was first designated in 2004. The recent Placecheck process, development pressures and local interest make Errol a high priority for a review of its conservation area.
Local Development Plan - Preparation of the the main issues report	All Perth & Kinross	All residents, service users and interested parties	In the delivery of a Local Development Plan for the Perth and Kinross Council Area we are currently the preparing the Main Issues Report. This stage of the Plan's preparation is to identify the main land-use planning issues within our area. To help with this, submissions are being sought on land-use issues and proposed sites for development as well as matters such as the provision of open space and community facilities in the area.
Rent restructuring consultation roadshow	All Perth & Kinross	All tenants	We are engaging with as many of Perth & Kinross Council tenants as possible to get their views on what features of a house - i.e. house size, type, number of bedrooms, heating system etc - should be taken into account when determining the rent level of an individual property. We are teaming up with the mobile library service to visit as many areas of Perth & Kinross as possible, even going to villages in Highland Perthshire where there are only one or two Council tenants.
Draft Economic Strategy	All Perth & Kinross	All residents, partners and stakeholders	The Economic Partnership have been reviewing the current Economic Strategy and Action Plan - it has been a very interactive process to date, and discussions are now being widened and views sought from our wider partnerships and stakeholders.
Housing in the countryside	All Perth & Kinross	All residents	In accordance with the Environmental Assessment (Scotland) Act 2005 a Strategic Environmental Assessment is required for the Housing in the Countryside Policy Review 2008 - the process includes preparation of reports which will provide opportunities for consultation.

Crieff Conservation Area	Crieff	All residents, community groups and national bodies	All Councils are required to identify areas of special architectural or historic interest and designate these as conservation areas. We have produced a draft conservation area appraisal which identifies what makes the proposed area of Crieff special and worthy of protection.
Black Spout Wood Management Plan	Pitlochry	All residents	A draft management plan has been produced and we are seeking the views of the public on this plan.
St Magdalene's Hill and Buckie Braes Management Plan	Perth	All residents	A Management Plan has been produced to guide the management of these sites in the future. A public meeting was held to gain the views of members of the two sites to help inform the plan.
