Education & Children's Services
Perth & Kinross Council promotes learning for everyone and works to keep our vulnerable residents safe and protected. Education and Children's Services are key to both these priorities.
The purpose of Education & Children's Services is to:
- Promote safety and well-being
- Improve learning and achievement
- Enable active engagement in communities
We are committed through our Statement of Intent [pdf 352KB] and Policy Framework to provide lifelong learning opportunities for all our residents, from toddlers to school children to older people.
We provide education and learning opportunities for toddlers, schoolchildren, and adults, whilst providing care and support for children and families in need. We also provide cultural services such as arts, museum and library services. Many more of our functions and services are listed below.
