Construction Projects

Alongside the creation of six new
community campuses through the Investment in Learning,
additional capital resources have been allocated to a number of
other important projects:
- A new primary school has been built at
Dunning
- A new primary school has been built at
Errol
- Schools are planned at Invergowrie and Crieff

Fairview School is a new school for pupils with
additional support needs

Woodlea Cottage is a new residence for young
people with additional support needs
- A programme is in progress for extensive upgrade works at
Perth Academy,
Perth Grammar School,
Perth High School,
Blairgowrie High School and Pitlochry High School
- Upgrade works have recently been completed at Portmoak Primary
School, Dunbarney Primary School, St Dominic's Primary School,
Kinnoull Primary School and a number of libraries
- Additional classroom accommodation has been provided at
Kirkmichael Primary School, Murthly Primary School and Methven
Primary School
- There is an ongoing Primary School Upgrade programme
and various works are currently being planned,
including a major upgrade for
Abernethy Primary School,
- A multi-disciplinary support facility for vulnerable children
and their families has been created at
Almondbank House in Perth
