Education and Childrens Services - Policy Framework

As part of the commitment to strengthen the leadership, policy and direction of our Service, a Policy Framework [pdf: 2.7MB] was developed and launched in 2007.

The framework is important as it allows us to communicate our overall purpose and ensures there is a cohesion for policies across the Service.  It also supports our Service's Statement of Intent [pdf 352KB].

The Policy Framework consists of eight policy areas as follows:
