First Thursday looks into The Agatha Christie Mystery

The latest of the First Thursday author events at AK Bell Library promises another fascinating evening, with the focus on the first biography to be published of the 'Queen of Crime', Agatha Christie.
Janet Morgan will be talking about her work on Thursday 1 May at 7.30pm. Her book explores the mystery writer's life and describes a woman of power, energy and determination, whose own life was not short of mysterious goings on.
Tickets for the event, costing £4, are on sale in the Library Shop now and can be bought in person or booked by telephone (01738 477016). They will also be available on the night. Doors open at 7pm and refreshments will be available.
