Senior Council speakers outline future vision

Leader of the Council Councillor Ian Miller, Council Chief Executive Bernadette Malone and Head of Planning Roland Bean will all be speakers at a major conference in Perth next month.
The Council speakers will talk about their vision of the future for the economy of Perth and Kinross at the event, which has been organised by Perthshire Chamber of Commerce at Perth Concert Hall on Thursday April 17.
The Our Vision conference, to be held from 10am-4pm, will bring together agencies, businesses and organisations from across the region to discuss ideas for the future of commerce in the area.
Councillor Ian Miller said: “This is a very worthwhile event that will allow people to to share their views and ideas on how we can continue to improve the already vibrant economy of Perth and Kinross.
“The Council’s focus is clear - we are committed to securing the future for the people of Perth & Kinross. This conference will allow us to celebrate our success and examine the opportunities that are available to businesses in the area. I am delighted to be given the chance to speak, and I look forward to it.”
