Crieff Recycling Centre returns to normal opening hours
The very recently redeveloped Crieff Recycling Centre will, from
Wednesday 1 February 2012, revert to normal opening hours of Monday
to Friday 9.00am to 7.00pm and Saturday & Sunday 9.00am to
5.00pm.
Redevelopments at the Recycling Centre include the entry road being
resurfaced and improvements to the layout of facilities with easy
to use bays for garden waste, timber, rubble, soil and stone. In
addition, mixed plastics, carpets and plasterboard are also now
accepted for recycling for the first time at Crieff.
Environment Convener, Councillor Alan Grant commented: "We
appreciate the patience that residents have shown throughout the
redevelopment period. With the Centre now set to return to its
normal opening hours this week, I am sure that the more accessible
facility with increased provision for household waste recycling is
something they have welcomed."
