Kerbside Textile Collection Trial continues fortnightly

Householders are reminded that the Kerbside Textile Collection Trial is continuing in Bridge of Earn, Bridgend and Gannochy, The Western Edge, Kinross, parts of Blairgowrie and South Auchterarder, on a fortnightly basis.

Environment Convener, Councillor Alan Grant encouraged residents to support the scheme: "If you live in one of these areas and are having a New Year sort-out, then clothes, shoes, bags, accessories and bedding can all be donated for reuse by putting them out at the kerbside, fortnightly, next to your blue-lidded recycling bin, by 7.30am on collection morning."

A reminder leaflet and collection bag will be delivered to participating householders again at the beginning of February, but collections are already underway every two weeks.
