Table tennis league proves popular with schools

S1-2 pupils at Perth secondary schools have recently been taking part in a pilot table tennis league.

From September to December 2011, the league welcomed two-pupil teams on a weekly basis for coaching and to play matches at Bell's Sports Centre.

Coaching was kindly provided by members of Perth Saints Table Tennis Club, in partnership with Perth & Kinross Council's Active Schools team.

The league's winning team were Neil Robertson and Jamie Blaikie from Perth High School.
