Queen Vic Walk in Highland Perthshire

An all-day walk on Wednesday 16 July 2008, organised by Perth & Kinross Council's Countryside Rangers, will take participants through the beautiful surroundings of Highland Perthshire.
The 10 mile linear walk will begin at 10am and end at 5pm, going at a comfortable pace from Acharn to Aberfeldy along the Queen's Drive. Walkers will discover follies, see stunning countryside and hear some tales of the area.
Transport to the start point will be provided. Participants should meet at the lower car park at the Birks of Aberfeldy at 10am. This will be a strenuous walk so a good level of fitness is required. Walkers should bring a packed lunch and plenty to drink, and stout footwear and waterproofs are essential.
