Former pupils and staff invited to contribute to Balhousie Primary's centenary celebration

Last updated | 26/06/2008

Balhousie Primary School in Perth will celebrate its 100th anniversary this Autumn. In preparation for events and activities to mark the school's centenary, former pupils and school staff are being invited to contribute through photographs and other memorabilia.

Over the course of the autumn term, each class at the school will focus on a different era of the school's history, looking at what happened at Balhousie at that time and also what was happening in the wider world.

To help with the pupils' work, the school is looking for former pupils, teachers and staff to share their memories of their time at Balhousie (also known in the past as Northern District Primary School). Photos and other memorabilia would be especially welcome.

Anyone who would like to contribute to the centenary celebrations in this way is asked to contact Balhousie Primary School by phoning 01738 624046, emailing headteacher@balhousie.pkc.sch.uk or by writing to Balhousie Primary School, Dunkeld Road, Perth PH1 5DH
