It’s Orange Night at the AK Bell Library again - time to look out those bright orange clothes and head along to the library theatre this Thursday night (5 June 2008) to celebrate the very best in women’s writing.
Award winning author Louise Welsh is this year’s guest and she will be offering her views on the six short-listed authors: Nancy Huston, Sadie Jones, Charlotte Mendelson, Heather O’Neill, Rose Tremain and Patricia Wood.
Tickets for the event cost £6, and include bucks fizz and carrot cake. Orange Night raffle tickets will be on sale with three sets of the shortlisted titles as prizes. The fun begins at 7.30pm.
