Summer public toilet provision
Last updated | 28/03/2008
Perth & Kinross Council would like to advise residents and visitors of extended opening hours and additional public toilet provision over the summer months.
Extended spring and summer opening hours for the Council’s attended public toilets will begin on April 1 2008. Specific opening times are available on the Council website, www.pkc.gov.uk.
The unattended toilet facilities in MacRosty Park in Crieff are now open 24 hours a day every day for the summer, until 30 September.
Extra free to use public toilets across the local area are also available through the Perth & Kinross Comfort Scheme. There are now 29 partnerships with local premises across Perth and Kinross which are clearly signposted in towns and villages.
The Council also runs a portable toilet scheme, which offers free mobile toilets for community events. This scheme has become increasingly popular over the summer months, providing facilities for gala days and fund-raising events all across Perth and Kinross. Organisations are required to apply at least one month in advance in order to secure their free allocation.
