Changes to trade waste disposal arrangements at Friarton

Perth & Kinross Council would like to advise businesses that, with effect from Friday 30 May 2008, general trade waste will no longer be accepted over the weighbridge at Friarton Transfer Station. Most regular users have been individually advised of these changes.
The Council's Environment Committee made the decision on 26 March 2008 to alter arrangements at Friarton so that only trade waste which can be recycled or composted can be disposed of at the facility.
Traders who use the recycling containers at Friarton Recycling Centre for segregated materials such as glass, paper and cans may continue to use these facilities free of charge.
General trade waste disposal services are available elsewhere in Perth and Kinross, at Holden Environmental, Shore Road, Perth, and Binn Skips at Binn Farm, Glenfarg.
