Information day for Council tenants

Perth & Kinross Council is holding a Drop-In Day information event for Council tenants and prospective tenants on Saturday 24 May.
The event, at the Salutation Hotel, Perth, will include information stalls and two question-and-answer sessions with senior staff. There will also be a presentation on the last tenant satisfaction survey and what has been done as a result of feedback received.
A Polish interpreter will be available throughout the day to assist tenants who would benefit from this service to take part in the question and answer sessions and access any additional information about housing services in Perth and Kinross.
Information stalls will provide details on topics such as:
• The Housing Repairs Service
• Improvements to your council houses, such as new kitchens and bathrooms
• Neighbourhood Services
• Environmental issues, including recycling
• SCARF (Save Cash And Reduce Fuel)
• Customer feedback – how to get involved and make a difference
• Perth and Kinross Tenants & Residents Federation
Doors will be open from 11am to 3pm. There will be two sessions when senior management from the Housing Service will take to the floor to answer questions from tenants. The first will be start at 11.30am with the second at 1.30pm.
Refreshments will be available and there will be a puzzle/face painting stall to entertain children during the day.
The hotel has access for people with disabilities and a hearing loop system.
People can drop in at a time that suits them.
