Places available on summer cricket coaching camps

Perth & Kinross Council's Sports Development Team are now taking bookings for cricket coaching camps, supported by Cricket Scotland, that will be running during July and August.
From Monday 7 to Thursday 10 July, an under-14s coaching camp will be held on the Doo'cot cricket field in Perth, between 10am and 3pm daily. This will cover basic cricket skills coaching and small-sided games, with the emphasis on fun and participation. Charges are £40 for the full camp or £10 per individual day.
From Monday 14 to Thursday 17 July, an under-10s coaching camp will be held on the North Inch cricket field in Perth, also between 10am and 3pm daily. This camp will cover all ability levels, offering basic skills coaching to children new to cricket as well as small-sided games. Fees again are £40 for all four days or £10 per individual day.
Two shorter camps will be held between Monday 4 and Thursday 7 August; for under 10s between 10am and noon on the North Inch cricket field and between 1pm and 3pm on the Doo'cot field for under-14s. The under-10s camp will focus on fun and participation while the under-14s event will cover all ability levels. Fees are £15 for the full camp or £5 per individual day.

Places on both courses are limited so early booking is advised to avoid disappointment. Participants should attend in sports clothing, or cricket clothing if they have it. Any children taking part who have cricket gear (bats, pads etc) already should also bring this with them.
