Our vision is of a confident and ambitious Perth and Kinross with a strong identity and clear outcomes that everyone works together to achieve.
Our area will be vibrant and successful; a safe, secure and healthy environment; and a place where people and communities are nurtured and supported.
Securing the future
Our Corporate Plan, sets out how we are working to achieve this vision by:
- improving services
- enhancing quality of life
- Making the best use of public resources
To delivery on this vision, the Council has identified five objectives for the area, local communities and citizens between 2007-2010. These are:
- A safe, secure and welcoming environment
- Healthy, caring communities
- A prosperous, sustainable, inclusive economy
- Educated, responsible and informed citizens
- Confident, active and inclusive communities
The Corporate Plan has also developed a range of indicators to ensure that progress towards the aims and objectives identified in the Plan can be measured. Progress against these is reported in the Council Public Performance Annual Report.
