In March 2007, Perth was accredited with Cittaslow status and became the first location in Scotland to join this international network of over 100 towns and cities.  As a member city of the Cittaslow international network, Perth has been invited, by Cittaslow International HQ, to send up to three delegates to the International Cittaslow Assembly to be held from 25 to 29 June 2010 in Korea.

The Cittaslow Korea Network is offering to cover the participation fees of 400 Euros per person to include accommodation, meals and ground transportation for 4 nights/5 days.  Each member town would therefore be required to cover the costs for delegates of travel to and from Korea.
