Purpose
The remit of the Committee is to exercise the functions of the Council as Social Work Authority in respect of Adult Care; promote and develop relationships with local health and social care agencies and to work in partnership to ensure the provision of health servides for people living in Perth and Kinross; monitor and respond to the activities and policies of Tayside Health and other agencies; to exercise the functions of the Council in terms of Housing legislation; to exercise the duties and functions of the Council contained in legislation relating to Housing Standards.
