Licensing committee

Purpose
The remit of the Committee is to determine applications for
licences, permits and registrations and to exercise discretion in
terms of any conditions attached to these licences, permits or
registrations where the approval of the Council as licensing
authority is required; otherwise exercise the powers and duties of
the Council under the Civic Government (Scotland) Act 1982; to
determine, implement and monitor the Council's policy in relation
to applications for licences, permits, registrations etc.; to set
fees and charges for those licences, registrations and
permits.
