At the last meeting of the Corporate Parenting Member/Officer
Working Group on 20 May 2009, it was decided to agree the attached
remit for the Group and to seek the Lifelong Learning Committees
approval for the remit.
The remit is also being submitted to the Community Safety Committee
and to the Housing and Health Committee for information.

Authority to Write-off Bad Debts and Obsolete Stock -
Strategic Policy and Resources Committee - 10 June 2009 (Art.
311)
The Strategic Policy and Resources Committee, at its meeting on 10
June 2009 agreed that the amounts set out in Report 09/288 be
written-off but noted that action will continue to be taken to
recover the amounts being written-off, where appropriate.
Members' attention is drawn to this decision and in particular
those areas relating to Education and Children's Services.
