Freedom of Information

The Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act ("FOISA") came into force on 1 January 2005 and requires all local authorities, including Perth & Kinross Council, to have a publication scheme that sets out the information we routinely make available to the public.  It also means you can request information from the Council and expect to receive it within 20 working days.

The Act is governed by the Scottish Information Commissioner.

You can request information from the Council's Freedom of Information (FOI) Team.  You can write to, email , fax or telephone the Team using the details below:

Compliance with FOISA

The Council endeavors to comply with FOISA by making available as much information as we can, either on our website or upon request to the FOI Team.
