Improving Support for Suppliers
A new initiative to help improve access to public sector
contracts for businesses was announced by the Scottish Government
on 30th September.
Full details of how the Champions Group propose to achieve this is
available from the Public
Contracts site of the Scottish
Government.
This is one of many such initiatives, others include the Guide
for Businesses and the
Suppliers Charter and the full range can be found
here.
Perth & Kinross Council are working with the wider public
sector procurement community to support these developments as well
as continuous improvement in our own procurement capability.
