Childcare Training Opportunities
Perth and Kinross Childcare Strategy organises a series of
Continuing Professional Development opportunities which are
available to anyone working with children, including
volunteers.
Training Bulletin May 2012
See the attached training bulletin for information on
training courses being offered from June 2012 until the
end of March 2013, including:
- Asthma and Epi Pen
- Baby and Child First Aid
- Child Protection Sessions 1 and 2
- Food Hygiene
- Infection Control
- Risk in Play
The attached newsletter gives information on applying for
funding for award bearing courses.
Booking
Courses should be booked through the
Childcare Strategy Team, based at the Community Wing, Perth Grammar
School, Gowans Terrace, Perth PH1 5AZ, tel 01738 472350, email
childcare@pkc.gov.uk
Provisional bookings should be made by phone or e-mail but all
applications for courses must be made on a CC1R Application Form. The closing date
for applications is two weeks before the date of the course.
You should receive confirmation of your place at least one week
before the date of the session.

training sessions are organised.
Send an email to childcare@pkc.gov.uk with "Training
Information by E-mail" in the subject box and giving details
including full name, contact telephone
number and childcare setting.
