Community Capacity Building in Strathearn
The Community Capacity Worker for the Strathearn Area is based
in
Strathearn Community Campus and
covers Auchterarder, Blackford, Braco,
Comrie, Crieff, Dunning, Gilmerton, Greenloaning,
Methven Muthill, and the surrounding areas. The
population of Strathearn can be viewed via the
Census figures (2001).
Support is provided to individuals, groups and organisations
in identifying and tackling issues which affect the quality of life
in their communities.
Some groups have been supported to:
- Set up a Community Development Trust
- Apply for funding
- Consult the rest of the community about their ideas
- Plan events
- Start a local youth club
You and your group could get:

- advice and guidance on a way forward
- funding information
- committee skills
