World war collections
The World War I database and the World War II database will help
you find information relating to both conflicts that are
scattered among all the Archive's collections.
The databases do not contain details about individuals, but if you
are interested in finding out what was happening on the home front,
these are a good place to start.
Volunteers from the
Friends of P&KCA have browsed all the collections in the
Archive to pinpoint which of them hold material relating to both
conflicts, and what the material is. The databases list this
information and will help you to find resources for your research
into the civilian experience of
WWI and
WWII
