The Word's Out! Picture Book Prize
Do you have a favourite picture book from 2011?
Why not nominate it for the 2012 Perth and Kinross Word's Out!
Picture Book Prize.
Perth & Kinross Libraries and Information Services would
like to involve everyone in the region in selecting the most
outstanding picture book for children of age 6 and under published
between January and December 2011.
Last year saw over 500 children and adults across Perth &
Kinross voting for their favourites, with 'Egg' by Alex T. Smith
winning the prestigious prize of a silver Quaich.
Call in at your local library to find out more about voting for
your favourites or
download the nomination form and return it to the library! All
entries must be in by 23rd March 2012.
Make sure you visit your library or the website again in April
to see which titles are in the running for the most popular picture
book of 2011!
Note: To be eligible books must have been published between January
2011 and December 2011.
