Under fives
Children can
join the library from birth. It's free to join and free to
borrow books. We have board books with thick pages, bright pictures
and simple rhymes just right for babies and toddlers, and thousands
of picture books for pre-school children.

For 0-3 year olds and their carers
Library staff and partners run
Bookbug Rhymetimes throughout Perth and Kinross. These are
free, fun and friendly sessions of songs, rhymes and stories.
For pre-school children
Storytelling sessions are held in all full time libraries.
For 0-4 year olds
Under fives can take part in the
Bookbug's Library Challenge, collecting gold stars to
gain beautifully illustrated certificates.
For parents
Libraries have
useful resources on all aspects of bringing up children.
Also, all libraries in Perth and Kinross have
free internet access.
