Chatterbooks
Chatterbooks are Reading Clubs for children aged 8-10. They're about reading and talking about everything to do with books - stories, authors, illustrators, dramas, comics, magazines, story tapes etc. The Clubs give young people the chance to develop confidence in expressing opinions and generally have a good time talking to each other about books.
Each session is themed, but members may choose freely the book they want to review.
Membership of the groups is limited to 15 children. There are groups now running monthly in the
AK Bell Library, Perth;
Blairgowrie,
Kinross,
Comrie,
Birnam and
Pitlochry Libraries during school term-times.
