FREE Wireless Internet Access at AK Bell Library

Library members can now use their laptops to gain free, fast broadband connections to the internet at the AK Bell Library.

Wi-Fi connections are becoming increasingly popular in many different places such as cafes, airports and hotels for example.  Normally there is a charge for this service but library customers can make the most of our wireless internet connection completely free of charge.

The AK Bell Library has recently had 'wireless hotspots' installed, allowing library members with Wi-Fi enabled devices to simply walk in and get a fast and FREE connection to the internet. If you need some help getting connected for the first time, you can also download our Wi-Fi Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) (pdf: 296kb).

Library members can already access this free service with no additional registration required. All you need is your library card and PIN number. If you're not a member, please ask the staff at your nearest library about how to join.

For more information, download our Free Wi-Fi leaflet (pdf: 270kb).
