Libraries - reservations and requests

If you can't find the item you would like to borrow in your local library, whether it's a book, audiobook, CD or other form of multimedia, you can use the request (reservation) service to trace and make it available for you to borrow from your chosen library. If you request something which is at another Perth & Kinross library there will be no charge for this service and we will try to make it available to you as soon as possible.

Requests can be made in person at any library, or if the item is on the library catalogue it may be possible to reserve it online, by logging in to my account using your borrower number (on library card) and a PIN, which can be obtained from the library.

If you request something which isn't available in any of our libraries, we may be able to buy the item to add to our stock, or it may be necessary to borrow it through the inter-library loan system. There is however, a charge for this service.
