Library Trolley Service to Hospitals

Access Services in partnership with NHS Tayside provide a quality library service to hospitals throughout Perth and Kinross.

Volunteers run a weekly library service to Blairgowrie, Crieff and Pitlochry Hospitals.

At Perth Royal Infirmary, a library trolley service is provided every Monday and Thursday afternoon to wards 1-8 and the Medicine for the Elderly Unit. Each trolley holds approximately 120 books (including large print and audio books) and is stocked with a selection of the latest novels, biographies, travel books, war stories, westerns, romances and murder mysteries.

If a patient at any of the hospitals would like to listen to audio books, we can lend out a cassette player. Large print books and music CDs are also available.
