AK Bell Library Café
The AK Bell Library's easily accessible Café is already
an established favourite with locals and visitors alike, where you
can relax in bright, airy and welcoming surroundings with some
light reading or socialise with friends. Buy a unique card for that
special occasion and even the stamp for posting it.
Warm up with some soup and bacon rolls on a cold winter's day or
sample our range of fresh, imaginative and affordable sandwiches,
wraps and panini's. You'll also enjoy our choice of hot
drinks, Fairtrade teas, coffees, and our selection of cold drinks
and smoothies. Visitors to the Café are assured of a
selection of delicious cakes and snacks, as well as a warm
welcome.

Monday-Friday 9.30am - 4.30pm*
Saturday 9.30am - 3.30pm
Private functions
The café is also available for hire and can be set out
for a cabaret and bistro. Recent hires have been for musical
recitals, talks, book launches and stand-up comedy. We can arrange
for an occasional alcohol license and set up a staffed bar for your
guests.
