The Soutar Theatre
The Soutar Theatre is a purpose-built and
comfortable venue which can hold up to 125 people.
It
is open for hire from 9:00am to 10:00pm (or beyond by arrangement)
and past uses of our theatre have included: musical performances,
puppet shows, slide shows, briefing sessions, author talks,
conferences, films, master classes, book launches, presentations,
recitals, seminars...and virtually any event that calls for lots of
people to be in the same place at the same time!
Audio-visual aids available for use include LCD projectors and
screens, slide projectors, laptops, TV/video, flip charts and we
also have available either a standing mic or a radio mic. We also
have a loop system for the hard of hearing.
Catering
Because of the proximity to the
AK Bell Café, both the Soutar Theatre and
The Sandeman Meeting Room have a variety of buffet options
available for your function, as well as tea, coffee and
biscuits.
We can also sell alcohol at events through our Occasional Licence,
providing sufficient notice is provided.
