Loch Leven Community library is located in the new community campus
at Muirs in Kinross. Opened in October 2009 this library offers
designated parking for disabled badge holders at the front door and
much improved parking for all other vehicles in the large campus
car park. Purpose built, this library offers level access to
all areas, a hearing loop system and comfortable seating. In
addition there is a comprehensive stock of large print
titles, talking books on cassette and CD and new
"Playaway" talking books.

Other information
This spacious, bright and colourful library offers lots of
social and study seating including a family friendly children's
area. A wide range of resources for all ages and interests
including books, DVDs, CDs and newspapers and magazines are held.
We have special collections of local history material, literacy and
learning resources and an excellent
Find Health collection.
Our friendly staff are on hand to help you, or you can issue and
return your own books through the new 'self service' machine.
With a vending machine, meeting rooms and a community art wall
the library is well placed to meet all your requirements.
Excellent computer access is available including wi-fi.
Within the public library facility, provision has been made to
enable the Kinross (Marshall) Museum Trust to present a changing
programme of temporary exhibitions of historic material associated
with the area of Kinross. Adjacent to this is accommodation for the
Museum Trust, including a research room where material from its
collection can be made available for consultation by appointment.
