Local Studies
Situated on the first floor of the AK Bell Library, the local
studies collection holds published sources of information
about the local area. We work closely with the Archives section
which holds unpublished records.
The main types of material we hold include:
2012 Map Sale
The Local Studies Department has some duplicate Ordnance Survey
maps of Perthshire for sale. The maps are second edition 25 inch
sheets each costing £3.00 or £30.00 for a full set of
sixteen where applicable. Unfortunately we are unable to send them
by post but you can contact the staff to have maps set aside for
collection. look at the following

Research
If you cannot visit the library in person we are pleased to
offer a research service. If you would like us to carry out
research on your behalf, please send us precise details of your
enquiry together with any relevant supporting information. We
always endeavour to get back to you as quickly as we
can but delays may occur at busy times.
