Increasingly, official information from Government and Public Bodies is being made available on the internet and library customers are able to access this information on our People's Network computers.
We also hold a collection of official information in print. For example:
Scottish Government Practical Fire Safety Guides - Part 3 of the new Fire (Scotland) Act 2005, as amended, and the Fire Safety (Scotland) Regulations 2006 came into force in October 2006, introducing a new fire safety regime for non-domestic premises in Scotland.
To assist those with responsibilities under the new regime understand and comply with their legislative duties, the Scottish Government has produced a wide range of guidance, including a series of practical fire safety guides. The Guides are freely available to all through the
Scottish Government's website. Holyrood & Scottish Government - We are a designated
Scottish Parliament Partner Library. As such we hold a collection of Acts, Bills, Statutory Instruments and other publications of the Parliament as well as contact details for MSPs and Scottish Government departments.
